Mad Mex says it’s “spreading the love” to all vegan and plant-based food lovers in Australia, with 500,000 free tacos on offer from today (8 December).
According to Mad Mex, it’s the only major Mexican QSR chain to offer both a vegetarian and plant-based vegan protein on its menu.
With this in mind, Mad Mex wants to let the 500,000 vegans in Australia know that it has their backs.
The Mexican chain warns Australians to be quick, though, as the freebie will only be available until 14 December. Customers can order in-store as a Mad Mex loyalty member or via the Mad Mex app.
“Our customers have really embraced our Powered by Plants range which includes Mexicali Mince and Veggie Veracruz since launch,” says Mad Mex founder and Managing Director Clovis Young.
“In the last 12 months, the category has risen from 5% to 20%, demonstrating the love our amigos have for Mexican plant-based menu options.”
