Users can now search by combined fuel types, including E10/unleaded 91, and diesel/premium diesel when using the MotorMouth website or app to compare fuel prices.
MotorMouth spokesman Alan Cadd says that as many service stations only stock one of these fuels, it is possible for motorists to miss out on a good deal when only searching for a single fuel type.
“This is especially important for NSW and Queensland motorists due to those states’ ethanol initiatives,” he said.
Another change to the MotorMouth platforms is the integration of the NSW fuel price data that is now available in line with the launch of the NSW Fuel Check website recently.
As motorists using MotorMouth have access to fuel price data across Australia updated every 15 minutes, they will be able to easily compare prices of fuel at service stations across the country unconstrained by state boundaries.
“Somewhere in Australia, at least every 10 seconds, someone launches MotorMouth to find cheap prices and save money,” Mr Cadd said. “This new initiative can only add to that success.”
