M&M’s is expanding its range with M&M’s Cookie Dough hitting Australian shelves in January.
The “world first” launch combines two of Australia’s “most loved” treats, M&M’s “iconic” milk chocolate and “decadently delicious” traditional cookie dough. The new flavour variant is one of the latest innovations to come out of Mars Wrigley’s Ballarat Innovation Hub following the company’s $28.8 million investment into its operations this year.
“We’re seeing a rise in consumers not only wanting flavour variations from their favourite snacks and treats, but textural experiences as well. Our new M&M’s Cookie Dough houses a real cookie dough centre in the heart of an M&M – it’s a textural experience that we know Aussies will love,” says Mars Wrigley Marketing Director Ben Hill.
“Our investment into our Ballarat Factory over the last few years has been focused on bolstering our chocolate and candy making capabilities, enabling us to create even more innovations and increase productivity.
“This world-first innovation speaks to what our Australian consumers love, the iconic combination of cookie dough and chocolate, as well as demonstrates our local capability to keep producing leading product innovations.”
M&M’s Cookie Dough sits alongside the full M&M’s range, including Milk Chocolate, Peanut, Crispy, Coconut, Mocha Mudcake, and Brownie.
The new product, with a RRP of $5.50, will be available from Coles, Woolworths and leading independent retailers and convenience stores from next month.
