Grill’d is collaborating with plant-based meat brand Beyond Meat to introduce the fourth generation Beyond Burger IV.
The new burger is promoted as containing no soy, no gluten and no GMOs, and is now made with avocado oil, which is high in monounsaturated fats, and offers 20g of protein per 113g serving. Made with protein from peas, brown rice, red lentils and faba beans, the Beyond Burger is certified vegan and higher in protein than other vegan burgers on the Grill’d menu.
Grill’d founder and Managing Director Simon Crowe says Grill’d has listened to its guests and are excited to now offer Beyond Burger IV.
“We’re proud to announce a partnership with Beyond Meat across our restaurants nationally, bringing our burger lovers the highest quality, best tasting plant-based products available,” he says.
“Our promise is simple, healthier choices, without ever compromising on taste or quality. At Grill’d we celebrate food choices, whether you’re vegan, vegetarian or simply exploring meat-free options, you’ll be biting into the best tasting burger around.”
Harm Dijkstra, Regional Sales Manager Foodservice at Beyond Meat, says with more consumers looking for plant-based options when eating out, Beyond Meat is delighted to bring its newest Beyond Burger to Grill’d.
“Made with avocado oil, which is high in monounsaturated fats, with just 2g of saturated fat per single serving, it’s the perfect choice for meat lovers, flexitarians, vegetarians and vegans alike, who want to continue eating what they love, no sacrifice required,” he says.
