A woman from the NSW South Coast has won a lifetime of fuel in a Caltex Australia competition – the company’s biggest ever customer promotion.
The fourth-generation Worrigee resident, Sue-Ellen Howard, entered the competition last month after filling up with Vortex Premium fuel at the South Nowra Caltex Star Mart on July 30.
“I’m still pinching myself,” she said. “Winning this prize is absolutely unbelievable and has changed my life.”
Given it was the biggest customer promotion in the company’s history, Caltex Australia’s Executive General Manager Commercial Bruce Rosengarten said he could not wait to call the lucky winner once the competition was drawn.
“I made the call to Ms Howard and she just couldn’t believe that she’d won – she started crying tears of happiness,” he said.

In addition to the lifetime-of-fuel major prize, Caltex also gave away 100 instant prizes of $100 ‘Star Cash’ for 28 days. There were more than 80 instant winners in the South Coast area.
