JB Metropolitan Distributors has acquired Adelaide wholesaler B&F Distributors.
The business will now be known as JB Metropolitan Adelaide and all existing accounts will be honoured. Both businesses are members of The Distributors group.
JB Metropolitan Distributors was established 33 years ago, starting out from the garage of owner Bruce Spiteri’s family home in Sydney. It is now a wholesale business focused on confectionery, snack food, grocery and beverage distribution boasting state-of-the-art systems.
B&F Distributors is a South Australian owned and operated wholesale business with a customer base including petrol and convenience, kiosks and pubs. This year, the company completed renovation of its extended warehouse to double its capacity in response to client demand
“At JB Metro, we pride ourselves on our customer service and reliability – so much so that the business has won many awards,” Managing Director Mr Spiteri said. “JB Metropolitan intends to bring this same level of service and professionalism to Adelaide. We’ll maintain all the staff from B&F Distributors, which we feel will lead to a smooth transition.”
