The Distributors this week announced the acquisition of 50 per cent of digital marketing agency, Impulse Marketing Pty Ltd.
Impulse Marketing is well established in the Australian market and operates the businesses of Brandz Online, Brandz@Retail, Brandz Apps and Brandz Digital Services for the FMCG industry. The company connects manufacturers to wholesalers and retail customers through these service touch points “in a relevant and timely manner”, according to The Distributors.
The Distributors General Manager George Tsapoutas says its investment in a marketing company specialising in digital technology in the FMCG industry shows its commitment to bring the wholesaler group further into the digital media age.
“This new partnership with Impulse Marketing is a great opportunity to continue improve on the already high levels of services we offer both to our customers as well as suppliers,” he said.
Impulse Marketing General Manager Karen Campbell will remain in her role.
