Australian specialty coffee retailer, Zarraffa’s Coffee, has big plans to expand across its core territories in Queensland, NSW, WA, and beyond. 
A “leader” in the robust Australian coffee market, the locally owned brand has set its sights on delivering more convenience to its growing fan-base of coffee-loving customers, launching its 76th store and newest drive-through location in Molendinar, Gold Coast on 15 March.
The new addition to the Zarraffa’s Coffee network further strengthens the Gold Coast-born brand’s presence in SEQ and reinforces its commitment to delivering exceptional coffee experiences to the local community and beyond.
Zarraffa’s CEO Marnie Sheldon says the new opening on the Gold Coast is a strong indicator that company’s customer base is thriving, creating demand for sites in the brand’s heartland even after over a quarter of a century.
“The Gold Coast is where it all started for us. With strong roots across SEQ since we opened our very first store in Southport 27 years ago, we’re proud to be expanding further in the region and grateful for the local community’s support who have enabled us to continue to grow the brand to what Zarraffa’s Coffee is today.
“This opening represents another milestone in Zarraffa’s continued growth, taking our brand of specialty coffee know-how to more locations across the state, and soon, the rest of the country”, she said.
Plans are taking place to launch in other states within the next 24 months and grow in areas within existing territories.
“There is so much scope and love for the brand, after two decades it does really feel like we are just getting started and have big plans to accompany our desire to bring our brand of specialty coffee to more people.
“The introduction of our drive thru only model only gives us more options, and we will still continue to grow in a healthy and measured way to ensure that our franchisees thrive and our customers benefit, wherever the location”, Ms Sheldon said.
The well-known Australian brand was established on the Gold Coast in 1996 after being founded by Kenton and Rachel Campbell.
Originating from the backstreets of Southport on the Gold Coast, the brand has blossomed into an award-winning enterprise, boasting a presence across Queensland, WA, and NSW.
The Molendinar store is operated by seasoned franchisees and local family Mayur, Rupa, and Nikhil Patel.
Franchisees for more than 18 years, together they own Zarraffa’s Coffee stores across Queensland in Browns Plains, Chatswood Road, Slacks Creek, another Gold Coast site at Ormeau, and Coffs Harbour in NSW.
With their passion for coffee, love for the local community and unwavering dedication to providing exceptional customer service, Mayur, Rupa and Nikhil are looking forward to bringing their experience and passion for Zarraffa’s Coffee to their home ground.

Zarraffa’s Coffee Molendinar is located at the busy thoroughfare of Southport Nerang Road, Molendinar, just a short drive from the M1 Motorway with access both south and northbound. It will service the bustling suburbs of Molendinar, Crestwood, Parkwood, Ashmore and Nerang.
The brand new Zarraffa’s store offers a drive-through allowing for quick and convenient service during busy periods, while the welcoming in-store and outdoor areas offer seating for up to 32 people.
The new store will employ more than 30 staff, and local patrons can expect a range of Zarraffa’s Coffee’s signature blends and specialty beverages, expertly crafted by skilled baristas who undergo rigorous training to ensure every cup meets the brand’s high standards.
In addition to providing an exceptional coffee experience, the Molendinar store will also offer a delectable assortment of fresh savouries, sweets, and snacks, making it the ideal stop for a quick bite or a leisurely coffee break.
