Promoted as a 100% South Australian family owned and operated company, X Convenience opened its first store six years ago with a clear vision of giving consumers a “five-star experience without the five-star price”.
“This has been very well received with consumers embracing and supporting our brand, our products and our fuel offer,” says X Convenience General Manager Retail Martin Gleeson.
Today, the company’s network comprises 35 stores in South Australia and one in Western Australia, with more to come.
In early May, X Convenience opened a new site in the Adelaide suburb of Unley.
“It’s in a sensitive inner suburban area where we’ve taken every care to fit in and minimise the impact on local residents,” says Mr Gleeson. “The response from the locals and nearby businesses has been fantastic.
“Beyond that, we have at least another 10 stores under different stages of build at the moment in and around SA (including regional sites). This includes an exciting new concept that we’ll launch in the second half of 2021 – stay tuned.”
