Tune into your coffee, a ‘Deep Tasting’ experience by Minor Figures

The creators of cult-fave Oat M*lk, Minor Figures, are unveiling a “world-first,” multi-sensory coffee experience in Melbourne.

The Minor Figures ‘Deep Tasting’ pop up offers an immersive kaleidoscope of soundscapes, visuals, and delicious drips designed to explore the connection between coffee, music and the senses.

For one weekend only at Collingwood Yards, coffee lovers will be greeted with a limited-edition Padre Coffee x Minor Figures Oat coffee before stepping inside a psychedelic green house.

“The perfectly balanced blend of Guatemala Huehuetenango and Brazil Sweet Espresso, with notes of vanilla, orange and hazelnut praline, will be elevated by a jungle of plants and smooth tunes that accentuate the flavour notes of the espresso,” according to a statement from Minor Figures.

“Music runs deep in the veins of coffee culture, so it is no surprise that Minor Figures believe coffee and beats are the perfect pairing. In collaboration with Padre, music is produced by jazz musician and Minor Figures Co-Founder, Will Rixon, guests will be taken on a trip of deep exploration.”

Fitted out with recycled materials made from upcycled oat milk cartons, the custom-built, colour-changing dichroic glass greenhouse will also feature curated coffee scents by the experts at Agaric Fly.

All coffee will be crafted with the brands signature Barista Oat, allowing for a unique and tantalising flavour profile.

Aligning with its dedicated sustainability ethos, the carbon neutral and B Corp certified company will donate the space to CERES Community Garden following the pop-up. Based in four locations on Wurundjeri Country, CERES is a social enterprise, environmental education centre, and community garden focused on rewilding and localising food production.

This is the first of a series of ‘Deep Tasting’ pop ups that Minor Figures will bring to Melbourne and across Australia.
