Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) has announced the appointment of former Bulla Dairy Foods managing director Reg Weine as the Managing Director of SPC.
Mr Weine led Bulla Dairy Foods as CEO for four years, having spent the prior year leading the company’s marketing, sales and innovation function. Previously, Mr Weine was the director of sales and international with Blackmores Ltd, where he was responsible for Australia, South-East Asia, New Zealand and the UK. Mr Weine is a Director of the Australian Food & Grocery Council.
CCA’s Group Managing Director, Alison Watkins, said, “I am delighted that Reg will be joining CCA to lead our SPC business. Reg is a seasoned managing director and his very relevant consumer goods experience, particularly in marketing, sales and innovation, will add huge value to SPC during this period of transformation and return to growth. Reg’s agribusiness experience means he understands the importance of our growers and will work collaboratively with our community in Shepparton.”
Mr Weine will take up his role on May 26.
Allan Hood, previous CFO of Bulla Dairy Foods, has been acting CEO since Mr Weine’s departure in January and there has been no change to this position.
