Powerade partners with fitness ‘icon’

Powerade has partnered with fitness trainer and entrepreneur Kayla Itsines, offering Australians access to a free six-month subscription to her fitness app Sweat.

According to the brand, the fitness “icon” has inspired “millions” with her accessible workout programs and positive approach to health and wellness. Her commitment to helping individuals achieve their fitness goals is said to perfectly align with Powerade’s mission to support, inspire and hydrate athletes of all levels.

To help Australians achieve their fitness goals, the Powerade Active Water x Sweat partnership offers a six-month free subscription to 18 “world-class” personal trainers, over 60 training programs, more than 13,000 workouts, as well as recovery sessions and hundreds of recipes.

Coca-Cola South Pacific Senior Marketing Director Kate Miller says Powerade is thrilled to partner with Ms Itsines and the Sweat app.

“Kayla’s enthusiasm for fitness and her commitment to making health accessible for everyone make her a perfect fit for us,” she says. “Together, we want to support Aussies in their fitness journey – whether you’re a gym-goer, a sports player, or just someone who loves being active.”

Ms Itsines says the Sweat team is excited to collaborate with such a recognisable brand like Powerade to empower Australians to stay hydrated and get active.

“Whether you love the gym or prefer to workout at home, we can’t wait to welcome Australians to join our incredible Sweat community and find a way to move that feels good,” she says. “From strength training and Pilates to yoga and HIIT, there is something for everyone.”

Australian can buy a Powerade Active Water at their local supermarket, petrol station, or convenience store to unlock a six-month free subscription to the Sweat app (valued at $149.94).
