Pana Organic launches ‘sustainable’ Easter egg range

Pana Organic has launched its first ever “flat” chocolate eggs ahead of Easter.

According to Pana Organic, the “reimagined egg radically reduces the company’s impact on the planet, using 80% less packaging than Pana Organic’s previous round eggs”. The company hopes this decision will inspire brands to produce more sustainably and establish a new benchmark of corporate responsibility.

The range sees two new flavours for the brand, Hot Cross Bun and Peanut Butter & Strawberry. “Fan favourite” flavours Golden Comb, Macadamia, and Mint Crunch are making a return as part of the new range, too.

“Pana Organic’s commitment to sustainability and the environment is an extension of my own passion,” says Pana Organic CEO Pana Barbounis.

“The introduction of our flat chocolate eggs will radically reduce packaging waste this season – it’s another step towards reducing Pana Organic’s environmental impact. We are so excited for our customers to try our new, exciting flavours and enjoy some beloved classics.”

The 80g eggs have begun rolling out in Coles, Woolworths, and independent grocers, with a RRP of $10.
