Ocean Spray has expanded its Pure range with the launch of Pure Grapefruit, an unsweetened 100% white grapefruit juice that’s said to add a powerful flavour and immunity boost to any beverage.
Each 1L bottle is packed with the juice of over 1kg of white grapefruits and contains 100% of your recommended daily intake of Vitamin C per 250mL. Like the rest of the Pure range, it contains no added sugar, colours, flavours or preservatives.
Ocean Spray launched its flagship Unsweetened 100% PURE Cranberry Juice in Australia last year, with each 1L bottle made from the juice of 700 cranberries and containing 450mg polyphenol antioxidants per serve to help “cleanse and purify the body”.
Since its debut, Pure Cranberry has driven significant growth in the ambient juice category, with 70 per cent of Pure Cranberry’s growth coming from shoppers new to the category. Additionally, it has already achieved 1% household penetration in Australia with more than 75% of buyers being new to the brand.
Ocean Spray General Manager ANZ, Elissa Booth says PURE Grapefruit is an exciting addition to the Ocean Spray Pure range.
“Ocean Spray is known for cranberry, so it is really exciting to build upon the success of Pure Unsweetened Cranberry by introducing a completely new product into the mix with a unique taste profile and health benefits,” she said.
“The PURE range is designed to add taste into different applications, whether it’s adding a little something to your morning smoothie or injecting some flavour into sparkling water, it can improve the taste of so many different beverages, all while being 100% unsweetened.”
Pure White Grapefruit is available in Coles for RRP $8, with Unsweetened 100% Pure Cranberry already available at all major Australian supermarkets.
