The new range comprises a variety of flavour pairings, including three triple-layer protein bars in Raspberry Chocolate, Peppermint Chocolate and Coconut Chocolate flavours, as well as three fruit and nut bars – Apricot Almond Coconut, Apricot Almond Chia Cinnamon and Cranberry Pistachio.
Select Harvests Health Food Category and Business Manager Wayne McIndoe says the ongoing trend towards health, fitness and wellbeing of Australian consumers leading increasingly busy lifestyles, has led to demand for healthier options that deliver convenience and can be enjoyed on the move.
“Our new range of protein and fruit-and-nut bars have been developed in response to this growing consumer trend for healthier snack options, and are made from honest plant-based ingredients to provide a more nourishing and convenient snack for time-poor consumers,” he said.
The triple-layered NuVitality Protein Bars are said to be formulated with quality ingredients to offer a good source of protein and fibre, and are also low in sugar.
Apricot-based rather than date-based, the NuVitality Fruit & Nut Bars are claimed to contain real fruits, nuts and seeds to boost energy and deliver a good source of fibre.
To promote the new products, NuVitality has partnered with wellness expert Tully Humphrey (owner and founder of Tully Lou), who will be supporting an integrated marketing campaign, including social-media and public-relations initiatives.
The NuVitality Protein and Fruit & Nut Bars are available in 30g servings from independent supermarkets and convenience channels with an RRP of $2.49 each.
