The Children’s Hospital Foundations fundraising drive, Giving Day, looks a little different this year, with the launch of the inaugural Mascot Games! Owlando, the NightOwl Mascot, was on hand to cheer on local sporting mascots participating in gruelling challenges for a great cause and to ensure spectators and supporter were fuelled up with bottles of NightOwl Cool Water.
NightOwl Convenience is an active and proud supporter of the Children’s Hospital Foundation with its OwlGood program an ongoing daily way to make a difference – acapmag.com.au/2022/11/nightowl-turning-small-change-into-large-difference-for-sick-kids/.
Talking about the initiative, Marketing and Communications Manager at NightOwl, Glenys Tristram said, “The Mascot Games were a chance to come together, laugh a lot, and throw a spotlight on the annual fundraiser: Giving Day. All donations given today are tripled by the Queensland Government who today also gave the Children’s Hospital Foundation 1.5 million dollars!”.
The Children’s Hospital Foundation raises money for research, equipment and direct support to children and families.
The Goal for the event is $300,000 with over $262,600 raised already they are close, and with triple donations still on offer a small push from the community and corporates will get them there.

Congratulations to the Mascot Games winners, and kudos to NightOwl for their ongoing support of such a vital community service.
