Life Savers has launched a new chocolate block, Life Savers Musk and Raspberry Jelly Milk Chocolate Block.
“A staple at corner shops and milk bars, musk lollies have stood the test of time,” says the confectionery brand. “The uniquely Australian treat made its debut in 1932 and has since played a massive ‘roll’ in shaping our childhoods from playground treats at the tuckshop, the cakes our parents made, and the lolly bags we received at birthday parties.
“Now, we get to experience our childhood in a whole new way! The block is filled with the nostalgia-inducing musk flavour, chewy raspberry jelly pieces we know and love, then blanketed in smooth and creamy Darrell Lea milk chocolate. Aussies can now take a trip down memory lane with the reinvented classic lolly in a block.”
Life Savers Senior Marketing Manager Jodi Teasdale says it’s no surprise that musk is the second most popular Life Savers roll flavour.
“When creating our new chocolate block, we knew musk would be paired perfectly with Darrell Lea milk chocolate,” she says. “We’re excited for Aussies to try the new block, and our goal is to continue helping Aussies create life-long memories with Life Savers.”
Life Savers Musk and Raspberry Jelly Milk Chocolate Block is promoted as being 100% palm oil free, 100% Australian made, and made using 100% sustainably sourced cocoa. The block is now available nationwide in Woolworths and Coles for a RRP of $5.
