Krispy Kreme launches new doughnuts with Cherry Ripe

Krispy Kreme and Cadbury have come together to launch two doughnuts paying homage to the Cherry Ripe.

The Cadbury Cherry Ripe Filled Doughnut is a shell shaped “delight” that is dipped in a “rich” Cadbury Old Gold dark chocolate blend. Filled with “moreish” Cherry Ripe inspired kreme, the doughnut is decorated with a Cadbury Cherry Ripe bite and red truffle icing.

On the other hand, the Cadbury Cherry Ripe Dipped Doughnut is a “reinvigorated” version of Krispy Kreme’s “iconic” Original Glazed Doughnut. Dipped in a blend of Cadbury Old Gold dark chocolate, the “flavour-filled” treat is then dunked in a mix of cherry-coconut pieces and topped with shredded coconut and a choc ganache drizzle.

“Cherry Ripe is an Aussie classic and a chocolate bar that many cherish,” says Krispy Kreme ANZ Head of Marketing Aimee Cutajar.

“We’re excited to share this collaboration with Krispy Kreme lovers across Australia and are hoping it gives friends, families and fellow fans of Cherry Ripe a reason to come together and bond over their love for one of Aussie’s top chocolates.

“And if Cherry Ripe isn’t your cup of tea, there’s always someone you know who loves them so this is the perfect opportunity to surprise and delight them with the new doughnut range.”

Both flavours are now available at Krispy Kreme and 7-Eleven for a limited time only. At 7-Eleven stores, consumers can also enjoy a Krispy Kreme Cadbury Cherry Ripe Doughnut with a 7-Eleven regular coffee for $5 between 2 and 29 May.
