Plant-based manufacturer Made With Plants has announced that its Dairy Free Mozzarella is now being used by Domino’s around the country.
Made With Plants Dairy Free Mozzarella is crafted using plant-based ingredients in place of traditional dairy, making it both lactose free and vegan friendly.
“We’re very proud to help Domino’s cater to the evolving needs of Aussie pizza lovers. We believe Made With Plants’ Mozzarella is superior to competitors because our cheese cooks, stretches, and browns like traditional dairy,” says Made With Plants co-founder Cale Drouin.
“In addition to being dairy-free and plant-based, our Dairy Free Mozzarella is also gluten-free. This means it’s now easier for a broad spectrum of Australians to enjoy their favourite Domino’s pizza. We’re proud to be Domino’s supplier of choice when it comes to new and improved vegan cheese options.”
Domino’s has been serving up a plant-based pizza range since 2019, with menu items such as Spicy Veg Supreme and Vegan Margherita. Sides such as Vegan Cheesy Garlic Bread are also available for those who like to enjoy their pizza with “something extra”.
“At Domino’s, we’re passionate about choice,” says Domino’s ANZ Head of New Product Development Michael Treacy.
“As the world’s best bonding food, it’s important that all our customers can share in the joy of pizza, regardless of their religious, ethical, dietary or lifestyle choices, which is why we’re proud to offer a new and improved vegan cheese.”
Made With Plants Mozzarella is now available at selected Domino’s stores nationally. Everyday shoppers can also pick up Made With Plants Mozzarella in retail packs at Coles or Woolworths.
