Viva Energy has now passed on the full 22.1¢ per litre excise cut announced at the federal budget last week.
Coles Express is going even further to give motorists a “boost” at the bowser over Easter. Customers can save another 22¢ per litre on their fuel every time they fill up.
In partnership with fuel provider Viva Energy, Coles Express has increased the discount on offer when customers spend $20 or more in Shell Coles Express from 10¢ to 14¢ per litre until 25 May. When combined with a Coles supermarket shopper docket deal of 4¢ per litre, the discount is 18¢ per litre.
With the footy season now underway, “footy fans and savvy shoppers alike” can receive an even bigger discount on their fuel by downloading the AFL Live app. Everyday customers can then register for and activate the AFL fuel discount offer on the app to receive an additional 4¢ off per litre.
This offer expands on the existing partnerships Viva Energy has with Transurban (Linkt), carsales and GDay Parks which all give customers access to an ongoing 4¢ per litre discount.
Providing ‘great value’
Coles Express Executive General Manager Michael Courtney says that with increased cost-of-living pressures facing Australians, the company wants to do everything it can to provide great value to customers.
“We have a great partnership with Viva Energy and by working together, we have come up with a really compelling way for our customers to save more at the bowser, at a time they need it most in the lead up to Easter,” he says.
“We want to get the message out there that it’s very easy to take advantage of this offer.
