Coca-Cola’s new flavour celebrates K-pop

Coca-Cola Australia has introduced the newest addition to the Coca-Cola Creations line-up, Coca-Cola K-Wave Zero Sugar.

Offering a “refreshing” limited-edition Coca-Cola drink infused with a “burst of fruity-flavoured K-pop magic”, the new product sets out to celebrate fans and their “infinite devotion” for K-pop artists.

To mark the launch of Coca-Cola K-Wave, three of the “hottest” K-pop groups, Stray Kids, ITZY, and NMIXX, as well as the founder of JYP Entertainment, J.Y. Park, have teamed up to drop the “ultimate” K-pop song called ‘Like Magic’. The full song and video are now available on JYP Entertainment’s YouTube channel.

By scanning the QR code on the new product, Aussie fans have the chance to embark on the ‘Like Magic’ Fan Music Video AI Experience, an AI-powered experience that allows fans to participate directly in the vibrant world of a K-pop music video, sharing the screen with their idols. Fans can make a cameo appearance in the Fan Music Video by embedding their voice, name, and face into various segments of the song and music video.

“We’re thrilled to bring Coca-Cola K-Wave to Australia, a flavour that not only tastes great but offers fans a fun way to connect with their favourite K-Pop artists and be part of the music they love,” says Coca-Cola South Pacific Senior Marketing Director Kate Miller.

“Coca-Cola is dedicated to bringing exciting new flavours and experiences to fans, and we can’t wait for people to try it and experience the magic of K-Wave.”

The new launch follows last year’s Coca-Cola Y3000 Zero Sugar, Coca-Cola’s first “futuristic flavour” co-created with human and AI.

The new Coca-Cola K-Wave Zero Sugar flavour is now available in 250ml cans at grocery and convenience stores across Australia. Additionally, Frozen Coca-Cola K-Wave will be exclusively available at McDonald’s.
