Cadbury’s new block inspired by Tassie chocolate-makers

Cadbury has unveiled a new chocolate block, Cadbury Dairy Milk Mint Chip, inspired by the chocolate-makers at the Cadbury factory in Hobart.

The product features a blend of “smooth and creamy” Cadbury Dairy Milk milk chocolate, with candied mint pieces.

“Our latest release is a tribute to our Tasmanian Cadbury chocolate-makers: a group of men and women who have played an incredibly important role in our success over the last 100 years,” says Cadbury Vice President of Marketing Paul Chatfield.

“You don’t celebrate a century very often, so we asked them – what special-edition Cadbury block should we make that is worthy of a centenary celebration? Mint Chip – the humble Aussie classic – proved the winner!”

Mr Chatfield adds: “On behalf of Cadbury fans worldwide – thank you to our Tasmanian chocolate-makers. Here’s to our first century in Australia and no doubt, many more centuries to come.”

Cadbury Dairy Milk Mint Chip (RRP $5) is now available in all leading supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide.
