Cadbury Australia is helping to feed hungry families by donating one million meals as part of its ongoing partnership with SecondBite.
With cost-of-living pressures continuity and food insecurity rates rising, Cadbury and SecondBite, with support from Coles, are relieving in need Australians from food-related stress in the lead-up to the end-of-year festivities.
Mondelēz International Marketing ANZ Vice President Ben Wicks says the company is proud of its ongoing partnership with SecondBite.
“Cadbury is dedicated to making a difference, and we hope our donation relieves some of the pressures so many are facing at this time,” he says.
“In the spirit of Christmas, Cadbury is thrilled to be giving back to support families doing it tough through the festive season, in partnership with SecondBite.
“With two in three (65%) [surveyed] Australians saying they associate chocolate gifts with comfort and connection, we’re looking forward to bringing joy and pleasure into the homes of Australians.”
Australian actress Ada Nicodemou has also teamed up with Cadbury this Christmas to encourage Australians to give back and celebrate the important people in their lives with small, yet meaningful gifts.
As part of the collaboration, Ms Nicodemou will be speaking to why Cadbury’s partnership with SecondBite is so important at this time of the year, sharing her tips and tricks to “sweeten up” the festive season and highlighting how she will be showing appreciation to her friends and family this year.
Cadbury has recently unveiled its Christmas range, encouraging Australians to “give something small that says it all”. The range includes a mix of “familiar favourites” and new additions that’ll add “extra sweetness” to the festive season.
