BP has officially opened the first privately funded and operated Changing Places bathroom facility in Western Australia for people with a disability.
Changing Places at BP’s The Lakes outlet, west of Perth, which features an adult-sized change table, hoist, automatic door and space for multiple people, adds to a network of 24 Changing Places in the state, developed by local governments and government agencies.
“At BP we aim to offer all our customers an easier and brighter journey and we’re delighted to be opening this unique facility for people with disability,” BP Vice President Sales and Marketing Australia Brooke Miller said.
“We’re proud to join a fast-growing network of Changing Places in Western Australia and encourage other private businesses to consider making this life-changing investment.”
