The UK retailer has announced that it is planning to open three new Sainsbury’s Local convenience stores and petrol stations in England.
The new convenience stores and petrol stations will be on the sites of Parkham Service Station on New Road, Brixham, Devon; Bebington Service Station, Kings Road, Wirral; and Seven Acres Service Station, Pensby Road, Wirral.
The sites have been acquired from Rontec, which will act as Sainsbury’s development partner. All three schemes have been granted planning permission.
Each new Sainsbury’s Local will create 20-25 new job opportunities in the areas.
