BP launches new range of ‘dirt-busting’ fuels

BP Australia has launched a new range of fuels, Ultimate 98 Unleaded and Ultimate Diesel, designed to remove dirt from engines.

The new fuels are claimed to remove deposits left by previous ordinary fuels (‘dirt’), enable more kilometres per tank, and maintain and maximise engine performance. The Ultimate fuels are also formulated to protect engines in the long term by preventing the formation of further harmful deposits.

“Dirt is the perennial enemy of a car’s engine,” President of BP Australasia Andy Holmes said. “Even as much as a speck of dirt can impact engine performance, and the build-up of dirt caused by ordinary fuels over time can lead to engine damage.”

The all-new BP Ultimate range is the result of five years of development, involving more than 50,000 hours testing engines and the equivalent of more than 1.6 million kilometres. The fuels are suitable for a wide range of petrol and diesel engines, in both modern and older vehicles.

“New BP Ultimate is the result of five years of rigorous research and testing,” Mr Holmes said. “We are delighted to bring our best ever dirt-busting fuels to our Australian customers.”
