Haleon announces new Marketing Director

Global consumer health company, Haleon, has announced the appointment of Nagraj Iyer as the new Marketing Director for Australia and New Zealand.

Mr Iyer brings over 15 years of experience with Haleon, having held a variety of leadership roles across sales, strategy, and marketing in regions including North Asia (Japan and South Korea), Singapore, and India.

“I am thrilled to take on this new role with Haleon Australia and New Zealand leading the marketing of many trusted household brands such as Panadol, Voltaren, Advil, Sensodyne, Centrum and Polident to name but a few,” said Mr Iyer.

“With a strong focus on innovation and people development, I am committed to building on Haleon’s success and delivering sustainable growth for our brands and customers in this exciting region.”

Proven track record

In his most recent role as marketing director for North Asia, Mr Iyer successfully led the team through a robust business turnaround, delivering strong financial results while also driving talent growth and development. Prior to this, he was part of the Asia-Pacific Strategy team based in Singapore.

Mr Iyer began his career at Haleon in the India Subcontinent (ISC) Business Unit in 2009, working across a variety of roles including field sales, customer marketing, and brand management.

Transforming the self-care market

Anish Patel, General Manager of Haleon Australia and New Zealand, said health consumers in Australia and New Zealand are some of the most sophisticated in the world.

Mr Iyer succeeds Cate Sefton, who has been marketing director for Haleon Australia and New Zealand for the past five years and has worked at Haleon for a total of 21 years across two tenures.

Haleon thanks Ms Sefton for her invaluable contributions to the business and wished her all the best as she pursues new opportunities.
