The Chef of the Year competition sees chef compete against chef and the clock in a test of creativity, culinary knowledge and ingenuity. The Chef of the Year competition gives chefs a chance to showcase their skills, promote their restaurants, network with fellow professionals, and win a share of $10,000 cash and prizes. This annual competition attracts entries from professional chefs from around Australia. There is a strict set of criteria, and a team of culinary experts to judge the winner. It is said to be the most highly regarded and competitive professional chef event in the country. The competition will be held in 2021 at Foodservice Australia in Melbourne. Chef Success Workshop 27 June 2021, 10am-2pm The Chef Success Workshop is a new program launching at the Foodservice Australia show next June. It will be a half-day program run by chefs for chefs. Hosted by Venessa Barnes, this is the opportunity for young chefs to connect with like-minded individuals and learn from industry leaders.
