Chef Manu Feildel and My Kitchen Rules judge has revealed his fresh sauce range in Coles Local supermarkets catering to customer demand for fresher, convenient and authentic food with no nasties.
Fans of the hit show My Kitchen Rules (MKR) know how much chef Manu loves his sauce, and now, Coles customers will be able to share in his passion for accompaniments, with the arrival of The Sauce By Manu range at select Coles Local stores.
The range reflects Manu’s authentic approach to food and home cooking, combining real ingredients, hard work, and passion in every pack. The chilled sauce range brings the flavours of France to the table with products including Peppercorn, Diane, Mushroom and iconic French Steak sauce.
“Recent consumer insights have shown that Coles customers are looking for fresher, healthier, real food options and are conscious of buying products that have too many additives,” according to the retailer. “The Sauce By Manu provides a healthier alternative option to sauces that have been designed for a long shelf life, and contain more preservatives. “
The Sauce By Manu take’s just a few minutes to heat up but has taken Manu over five years of trialling and testing the best recipes for the retail market.
“I have lost count how many times on MKR I have had to ask for sauce or have had to score a poorly made sauce. The right sauce brings a whole meal together and it is my hope that this range will also bring Australian families together around the dinner table,” Manu said.
“Creating The Sauce by Manu range over the past five years has been a huge passion project for me, with my aim for the whole By Manu range to provide home cooks with fresh, real ingredients that are made with skill and not full of additives, or as I tend to put it: ‘No crap!’”
