The start-up company is making better-for-you products accessible to shoppers for a ‘healthier’ Australia.
Established in 2018 by founder David Andrew, The No Nasties Project is an Australian owned FMCG start-up based in Melbourne.
The No Nasties Projectʼs mission is to accelerate a healthier Australia by fast-tracking mainstream access and adoption of new better-for-you options through providing “great tasting, better-for-you products at an everyday attainable price and accessible to all,” founder and CEO David Andrew said.
“We have a vision that all Australians will have the access and ability to make an affordable better choice for their family’s health through great tasting, better-for-you options.”
The No Nasties Project offers a wide range of reduced sugar products available at leading supermarkets nationally, including Sugar Free-zies Icy Stix and 50% Less Sugar Cookies, Choc Spreads, and Cereals.
The No Nasties Project claims to have removed more than 380 tons of sugar from Aussie diets since its inception, under its ‘Project 500’, which is aimed at increasing this figure to 500 tons.
“For every ton of sugar the brand removes, The No Nasties Project donates $100 in support of schools and sporting clubs to further health education and create a healthier future for Australia,” Mr Andrew said. “Making a genuine difference in our community is important to us.”
