The results are in following Starlight Week 2023, which was run across the Caltex network in late May. The latest in the long running program has seen the Caltex (Chevron Australia Downstream) network deliver a record breaking $270,000 to the Starlight children’s charity. 
The 2023 Starlight Week is the continuation of an eight-year tradition for Caltex that started from humble beginnings as a morning tea fundraiser and has evolved into a week-long event that the whole network gets behind. Stores are decked out in the iconic purple and yellow, staff dress up and office-based employees volunteer their time to drive donations for Starlight.
Additionally, the Caltex team raises funds through team fundraisers, collections throughout their retail network, participating in Starlight signature events and corporate donations from the global Caltex Foundation.
This ongoing and diverse commitment has resulted in more than $1.8 million being raised in much needed funds for the Starlight Express Rooms and Captain Starlight.
Despite the current economic pressures, 2023 was a massive success. Through a series of product-based donations, instore activations and customer collections, the stores, suppliers and community all got behind this initiative and raised more than $270,000 in a single week, smashing the 2022 result of just more than $212,100.
