Proper Crisps has launched two new limited-edition flavours, Big Cut Kasundi Ketchup and Big Cut Habanero Mustard, in collaboration with Kiwi chef Al Brown.
Inspired by Mr Brown’s “iconic” sauces, Simply Red Kasundi Ketchup and Old Yella Habanero Mustard, these thick-cut, slow-cooked crisps are promoted as bringing a “fresh twist to classic condiments” while continuing the tradition of Proper Crisps’ “premium-quality, real-ingredient” snacks.
Mr Brown says he’s thrilled to collaborate with Proper Crisps on this limited offer.
“I’ve always believed that what makes great food is bold flavours, quality ingredients and a bit of fun – these chips tick all of those boxes,” he says.
“Simply Red Kasundi Ketchup and Old Yella Habanero Mustard are two of my all-time favourite sauces and seeing them come to life as crisps is a real treat.”
Proper Crisps Brand Manager Hayley Lewis says the brand is looking forward to seeing whether Australia will be ‘Team Yella’ or ‘Team Red’.
