PepsiCo ANZ appoints new HR Director

PepsiCo Australia has announced the promotion of Kirsty Charlton to the role of HR Director.

Ms Charlton, who is currently Head of Talent Management & Organisational Design for ANZ, will now lead the company’s overall ‘people first’ strategy in ANZ. She joined PepsiCo in 2018 as the HR Manager for commercial functions.

PepsiCo ANZ CEO Kyle Faulconer says the business is excited to welcome Ms Charlton into this new role.

“Kirsty is a skilled and valued member of the PepsiCo ANZ team and has achieved many successes in her five years with the PepsiCo business,” he says.

“Kirsty spearheaded a new L&D strategy for ANZ streamlining our offering and having a more personalised and targeted approach, launched Super 5, our new global team effectiveness framework incorporating Insights Discovery across ANZ, revitalised the ANZ DE&I agenda with a focus on elevating women, building relationships with indigenous communities, and fostering inclusion, and successfully introduced the innovative Mind the Gap careers agenda to the organisation.”

Commenting on her new appointment, Ms Charlton says she’s really excited to lead the ANZ HR team and shape the future of the ‘people first’ strategy.

“I’m really proud to work for an organisation where we have iconic brands that are part of consumers lives and where our career goals are seen and heard – I’ve been supported and given opportunities to stretch and grow in my career while also having two periods of parental leave during my five years here and I’m really excited to embark on my next role,” she says.

Prior to joining PepsiCo, Kirsty held HR Business Partner and Talent roles with Vodafone, BP, and Xerox based in London.
