The Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) group has been in operation for over 130 years, delivering fuel dispensing and management systems. The extensive integrated stable of fuel and equipment brands includes the Wayne Fueling Systems equipment and technology that has become a staple and market leader in Australia and New Zealand. This system critical supplier is the focus of this week’s Partner Highlight.
The Wayne brand has a long association with fuel in Australia. In 1937, Quele of Adelaide was licenced to manufacture fuel pumps and operate as Wayne Pumps Australia. In 1946, Queale was acquired by Kelvinator Australia and continued to sell pumps under the Kelvinator name until 1983 when Kelvinator was acquired by Email Limited.
The Wayne brand came back to Australian forecourts and fuel sites more than six years ago and has grown year on year to now be a market leader in Australia and New Zealand.
While DFS is headquartered in Austin Texas in the USA, all of the products for the Australia and New Zealand market come from Europe, with the dispenser factory in Dundee Scotland and the ATG factory in Milan Italy.
“The offer includes more than just pumps, delivering electronic fuel management systems, automatic tank gauging, through the OPW FMS and ProGuage products, as well as wetstock management solutions, through the Fairbanks brand”, explains Sales Director Ludo Wilmann.
