OTR opens new convenience store in Virginia

Leading convenience retailer OTR has opened its latest OTR Virginia store in SA, creating more than nine new OTR jobs, and over 60 Hungry Jacks jobs for local employees.

OTR Virginia is open 24/7, providing ultimate convenience through the offer of locally roasted barista-made C Coffee, Krispy Kreme doughnuts and New York-style hot dogs – Moe’s Dog & Shake, also available at the drive-through. The store has a specially curated range of supermarket essentials, fresh fruit and vegetables, BBQ gas, and OTR brands OhJ! and EAT providing fresh drinks, pastries, and sandwiches. A premium range of BP Fuel is also on offer to ensure customers can fill up and go at any time of day or night.

Hungry Jacks drive-through operates daily from 6am-11pm.

“OTR aims to give guests the highest quality in convenience retailing with our award-winning fuel and food offers,” says OTR Convenience Chief Operating Officer Mark Smith.

“A new OTR store in Virginia affirms our commitment to investing in South Australia, and creating new local jobs, and becoming an integral part of the local community.”

As an Australian family business operating for more than 30 years, OTR has over 178 stores across metropolitan and regional SA, metropolitan and regional Victoria, and WA. The parent company, Peregrine Corporation, is South Australia’s largest private employer, employing more than 6500 staff.

Customers are also encouraged to help OTR give back to the community and charity groups through OTRGive. The program works through the OTR App; every time a customer shops or refuels at OTR with the OTR App, OTR donates to the community group at no cost to the customer.

OTR Virginia is located at corner of Old Port Wakefield Road and Thomas St, Virginia SA 5120.
