After almost 14 years of operation, the original Zarraffa’s Coffee store in Toowoomba is relocating to a brand new, convenient drive thru location.
Franchisee Damian Doyle, who opened the very first Zarraffa’s site in the Darling Downs region in 2009 within the Clifford Square Shopping Centre, is making the move to a new address on 2/159-161 Anzac Avenue, Harristown.
“I opened three stores over the span of three years when we first started with Zarraffa’s in Toowoomba,” says Mr Doyle.
“At the same time we were raising a family, and it was rewarding building a relationship with so many locals that started with a great cup of coffee.
“Now is the right time for this growth, moving toward greater convenience for our existing customer base, while serving up exceptional coffee in a new drive thru site on the same road.”
Zarraffa’s Coffee CEO Marnie Sheldon believes the store relocation will increase access and improve customer experience at this bustling location.
“We have long been moving out of shopping centres as part of our expansion plans, allowing the stores to operate more robustly with a storefront and drive thru in one.
“We take pride in working with our franchisees to grow their businesses, and store relocations are one way of setting up a long term opportunity that benefits our franchisees and their customers,” she said.
After opening the original store in Clifford Square in 2009, and then the Toowoomba South store just a year later, Mr Doyle went on to open the Toowoomba North store in 2011.
Mr Doyle sold the Toowoomba North store to franchisees Ashley Byers and Jordan Wyborn in 2017 and closed down the Toowoomba South store in anticipation of relocation plans.
“It has been fantastic to be a part of Toowoomba’s increasing love of coffee, and both the team and I are ready for the challenge of a brand new drive thru location.
“It’s been an incredible journey so far and it’s great to be able to work with a brand that offers opportunities no matter what stage of business you are in.”
Zarraffa’s Coffee Toowoomba Drive Thru is located at 2/159-161 Anzac Avenue, Harristown. Opening hours are 5am – 9pm, seven days a week.
