Nestlé Professional launches new dessert mixes

Nestlé Professional has launched two new dessert mixes inspired by Nestlé brands, Milkybar and Aero.

According to the company, chefs, restaurateurs, and foodservice operators can now create “delicious and inspiring desserts with a nostalgic twist”, including milkshakes, ice cream, cakes and mousses.

The Nestlé Milkybar Dessert Mix is inspired by Australia’s “number-one” white chocolate brand, Nestlé Milkybar. This versatile dessert mix, says Nestlé Professional, will add that familiar white chocolate decadence that diners love.

The Nestlé Aero Dessert Mix is promoted as a “must-try for those who love the light and bubbly texture” of Aero. This dessert mix is inspired by the “classic” Nestlé Aero chocolate bar and can be used as a chocolate base to create shakes or mousses.

Both dessert mixes are gluten free with no added colours or flavours.

Nestlé Professional Executive Chef Elke Travers says nostalgia is emerging to be one of the biggest food trends this year.

“When people are looking to dine out, fun and even sentimental dining experiences can make all the difference,” she says.

“The Milkybar and Aero dessert mixes provide chefs with an easy way to curate special moments for customers.”
