Monster Health Food Co has expanded into the convenience market with four Breakfast in a Bag muesli varieties now ranged in Woolworths Caltex stores.
Co-founder Kim Lauman, who launched the Australian-owned and family-run business 22 years ago with Trevor Lauman, told Convenience World the ranging is a great opportunity for Monster to expand into the convenience market, where healthy options are increasingly popular.
“We are very excited about this opportunity because Breakfast in a Bag is a healthy, convenient and portable option,” she said. “It’s good for consumers and it’s good for the Caltex stores as it means consumers will most likely pick up some yoghurt or milk or banana to go with their Breakfast in a Bag – a win-win situation.”
The four Breakfast in a Bag varieties now ranged in Woolworths Caltex stores are Free & Fruity, Multigrain Porridge, Berry, and Sports.
