Metcash has announced the completion of its acquisition of Superior Food.
This follows the company’s announcement in February that it had entered into a binding agreement to acquire the “strategically aligned” Superior Food business.
Superior Food is promoted as a leading Australian foodservice distribution business in the large and growing foodservice market. The acquisition, according to Metcash, cements the company’s position as the largest wholesaler and distributor of food to independent businesses in Australia.
