For a limited time, 7-Eleven and Krispy Kreme stores will sell Krispy Kreme doughnuts with Nutella.
The first ‘official’ doughnuts with Nutella are available in Krispy Kreme stores until June 19 and 7-Eleven until July 3.
The two varieties available are Krispy Kreme’s classic doughnut dipped in Nutella hazelnut spread with cocoa then topped with caramelised hazelnuts, and a Nutella-filled doughnut with a dusting of icing sugar and drizzle of Nutella on top.
“We realised that there was a hole – pun intended – in our offering, so we’ve been working with our friends at Krispy Kreme and Nutella to develop these new products that we think our customers will get a bit nutty for,” 7-Eleven National Merchandise Manager Paul Church said.
Commenting on the partnership, Nutella brand owner Ferrero’s Australia & New Zealand Sales Director Bree Vidovich said: “We’re so excited to collaborate with foodservice partners like 7-Eleven and Krispy Kreme to bring new innovations to foodservice that bring the unique flavour of Nutella to consumers.”
Delivered fresh daily to 7-Eleven and Krispy Kreme stores Australia wide, Krispy Kreme with Nutella doughnuts sell for $3.50 each (or $6 for two-packs and $11 for four-packs from 7-Eleven).
