KidsCan and Mobil New Zealand partnership helps Kiwi kids in need

Mobil New Zealand’s ongoing relationship with charity partner organisation KidsCan has raised much needed funds for Kiwi kids in need since connecting in 2018.

“In 2021, we launched an in-store coffee cup campaign which sees 10 cents from every hot beverage sold at Mobil service stations donated to KidsCan,” the company said.

“This year alone the funds raised so far have enabled the supply of 2,456 shoes, socks and jackets to children in need.

“Now a major partner, we’re proud to work together to support children in need across Aotearoa via KidsCan programmes at over 1,100 schools and early childhood centres, providing them with food, clothing and health items.”

Mobil New Zealand team members recently helped with KidsCan’s distribution at a warehouse volunteer day.

Mobil New Zealand Chair Wayne Ellary said, “We’ve had a phenomenal time working with KidsCan since the partnership began.

“We all want Kiwi kids to get up in the morning, be happy and go to school and have good nutrition every day, that’s why this volunteer day is so important.”
