Tracey Clements has been appointed Managing Director for Convenience and CEO of One Stop, a Tesco-owned independent subsidiary of the UK retail giant.
Ms Clements’ role is to help to develop Tesco’s convenience offer for customers through its network of Metro, Express and One Stop convenience stores across the UK.
She joined Tesco in 2002 and has held several positions, including a pivotal role in the development and growth of the Tesco Express format, both as a store director and through her leadership of the Tesco Express central team. Ms Clements has also spent time as operations development director and support office director before her most recent role as customer strategy and insight director.
Tesco UK Retail Director Tony Hoggett said Ms Clements’ “wealth and breadth of experience will support the teams in developing this key part of our business as well as helping us serve our customers a little better every day”.
