Hungry Jack’s launches Jack’s Cafe

Australian QSR giant Hungry Jack’s has launched a national rollout of Jack’s Cafe across 410 stores following a successful pilot scheme, providing customers with rich, velvety, and smooth, quality, barista-made coffee on-the-go.

Hungry Jack’s identified a consumer demand for quality barista-made coffee that they can grab on-the-go, with coffee being the third most ordered item across its breakfast menu. The national rollout has seen a significant investment from the company and is set to take a bigger bite of the cafes and coffee shops industry worth $10.7 billion.

Jack’s Cafe prides itself in their signature blend, combining Arabica beans from Papua New Guinea and Costa Rica. Together these beans compliment the earthy flavours of the natural processed Robusta coffee in the blend, resulting in a distinct apricot flavour and heavy body.

“State of the art equipment has also been fitted into all Hungry Jack’s stores to elevate the coffee experience and ensure quality and consistency. All stores have been equipped with the finest coffee-making machinery from leading Italian coffee equipment manufacturer, Rancilio, and automated milk texturiser, ensuring velvety smooth milk in every single cup,” the company said.

Jack’s Cafe has invested in upskilling crew members and employing more staff to meet the growing demand for coffee and ensure a perfect cup is served every time. “Each restaurant has trained and certified baristas to ensure consistency and quality in the development of all Jack’s Cafe beverages from hot and iced drinks to specialty beverages.”

Hungry Jack’s has employed Head of Brand Joy Villanueva who specialises in coffee development, operations, and training to bring this project to life and further developed a unique barista training program which takes the untrained to expert in equipment, recipe, WHS and daily cleaning in no time.

Hungry Jack’s CEO Chris Green says: “We all know how much Australians love their coffee, and quality barista-made coffee isn’t just a ‘nice to have’ it is an expectation from our customers. Jack’s Cafe is the go-to for people seeking out a delicious coffee, whether it’s a morning pick-me-up or keep them going throughout the day and we are thrilled to make Jack’s Cafe now available Australia-wide.

“Typically, a project of this size would take five-seven years, however we’ve managed to achieve this roll-out in two years to bring better coffee to Australians faster, and prove the coffee is better at Hungry Jack’s.”
