Farmer’s Union powers up with protein

South Australia’s leading iced coffee brand, Farmers Union Iced Coffee (FUIC), has launched its most protein-packed product yet, Protein Iced Coffee.

Made in South Australia, by South Australians and proudly Aussie owned, FUIC will uphold its icon status with a new Protein offering designed to fuel the lifestyle of South Australians and give them a protein boost.

According to recent data, protein is an $8 billion category in Australia and is increasingly expanding into mainstream markets (Circana Convenience Scan, Dollar Share, Impulse Iced Coffee, National, MAT to 28/07/24). Consumers are showing a growing demand for protein-rich options, with one-third of those who choose beverages looking for high-protein products to help keep them fuller for longer (Nature Project Nike – NARTD Usage & Attitude Study August 2019).

Packed with 36g of protein per serving and with no sugar added, FUIC Protein aims to offer the perfect caffeine kick for its loyal FUIC fanbase and more health-conscious consumers.

“Our latest protein launch has been driven by consumers demand for high protein products,” said Zabean Bhanji, Brand Manager of Farmers Union Iced Coffee.

“As functional health and lifestyle trends continue to gain momentum, we see consumers looking to get more benefits out of their iced coffee pick me up and FUIC Protein does just that by supporting a protein charged diet.

“Made with fresh milk and real coffee, our FUIC Protein is a welcomed addition to our iced coffee family and we look forward to seeing South Australians powering up 3 with a delicious FUIC Protein carton in their hands”, he said.

Farmers Union Iced Coffee Protein 600ml carton is available in South Australia and Northern Territory stores.
