South Australian consumers can once again enjoy the “truly iconic” collaboration between Farmers Union Iced Coffee (FUIC) and Krispy Kreme.
After “roaring success” in 2021, the FUIC-inspired Krispy Kreme doughnuts are back. They are available, for a limited time only, from over 170 OTR stores and eight standalone Krispy Kreme stores in South Australia.
The collaboration offers two doughnuts:
- A Krispy Kreme FUIC-inspired ring doughnut glazed in “delicious” FUIC coffee flavour with FUIC coloured icing.
- A filled shell doughnut iced with coffee icing and filled with FUIC coffee Kreme.
The doughnuts will be made at Krispy Kreme’s factory stores in SA, including West Croydon and Mount Gambier. FUIC has been made in SA in its Salisbury factory since 1977.
Head of Krispy Kreme SA Carly Higgerson says the Krispy Kreme FUIC-inspired doughnuts were the company’s best-selling doughnuts in 2021.
“We know South Australians love FUIC and Krispy Kreme doughnuts and we know after last year they love the two combined,” she says. “We are thrilled to bring back the Krispy Kreme FUIC-inspired doughnuts and give fans another chance to experience the iconic collaboration.”
Bega Dairy and Drinks Head of Marketing Milk Beverages Helen Cheeseman adds: “We are certain that FUIC fans will be delighted to once again taste FUIC-inspired doughnuts alongside their favourite drink, FUIC.”
