The Fioretti family, a longstanding member of the Zarraffa’s Coffee franchise network, has announced the opening of their latest store in Dakabin this October.
This new venture marks another milestone in the Fioretti family’s enduring relationship with the brand, which has seen them successfully establish four other Zarraffa’s Coffee locations across North Brisbane over the past 15 years.
Under the leadership of Candice Fioretti, who works closely with her parents, Ralph and Denise Fioretti, the family have been involved with the brand since 2009 and has built a reputation for excellence both within the community and with the Zarraffa’s brand.
“Opening the Dakabin store represents the continuation of a legacy my family and I have been dedicated to for over a decade,” Candice Fioretti said.
“Our family has always taken pride in being hands-on and ensuring that every detail of our stores meets the expectations of our customers. This personal approach is something we carry into every new store, including Dakabin, where we are eager to become an integral part of the community.”
The Fioretti’s journey with the Zarraffa’s Coffee family began with opening their first store in north Brisbane, which led to two more stores over the decade that have since been resold. In June 2019 the family opened the Lawnton store, which they still proudly own and operate today.
Ralph and Denise Fioretti brought with them a wealth of experience from their previous ventures in hospitality, laying the foundation for a family business that has thrived under their leadership.
Candice, who has been deeply involved in the business from a young age, now plays a pivotal role in steering the family’s operations and ensuring their high standards are met across all store locations.
The new Dakabin store will operate from 4:30am to 9pm daily and offer both drive-through and in-store dining options, catering to the diverse needs of local residents and commuters alike.
Zarraffa’s Dakabin creates 40 new jobs in the area, with a team led by experienced Manager Jessica Wyeth and supported by barista mentors Maddy Bennett and Danielle Chan See.

Candice has also been instrumental in introducing new innovations and product offerings to the Zarraffa’s experience, particularly in her role with Zarraffa’s Food and Beverage Research and Development group.
The Dakabin location will showcase some of these initiatives, helping to drive the Research and Development effort of the wider business, designed to enhance overall customer experience and choice.
The Fioretti family’s dedication to excellence has not gone unnoticed, with their first store winning Rookie Franchise of the Year in 2010, Franchise of the Year in 2015, and multiple Brand Ambassador awards.
Their staff have also followed their example, with team members winning the past two brand-wide Zarraffa’s Battle of the Barista competitions.
