Dare Iced Coffee’s entire range is now Rainforest Alliance (RFA) Certified. “While Dare has always been made with real coffee beans, this certification honours a new era of ethical coffee drinking for consumers who are looking to make choices that are better for people and nature,” the brand said.
The Dare range is brewed with a delicious blend of Rainforest Alliance Certified Arabica and Robusta coffee beans.
“With the same great Dare taste but a refreshed pack design featuring RFA’s frog seal of approval, it’s now even easier for Dare fans to connect their favourite iced coffee to doing good.”
Dare Senior Brand Manager Adelle Cosgrove says, “We are always looking for ways to make Australia’s favourite iced coffee better for the environment, which is why we are proud to brew Dare with 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee beans.
“When you choose Dare and see the Rainforest Alliance frog seal, you can be confident that you are supporting a product that utilises coffee beans that have been grown, harvested and produced in a sustainable way from certified farms and forests.”
Consumers can scan an on-pack QR code to be transported into a virtual rainforest augmented reality experience.
The RFA certification is the first step in Dare’s sustainability journey. From next year, Dare bottles will start being made with recycled plastic, helping Bega Group meet its Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation targets ahead of the 2025 goal.
