Bega Group has released a lactose free range of some of its most popular milk products.
Requests for lactose free versions of Dare Iced Coffee, Dairy Farmers Classic, and Big M beverages is one of the top two enquiries Bega heard from consumers in 2022, which has led to the release of the new range.
“We’re excited to now be offering lactose free options of some of our most popular, great tasting milk beverages so that Aussies who are sensitive to lactose can once again enjoy their favourite iced coffee or flavoured milk,” says Bega Dairy and Drinks Head of Milk Beverages Helen Cheeseman.
The highly anticipated lactose free version of Dare’s “best-selling” double espresso[1] has finally arrived, as well as lactose free chocolate flavoured milk from Dairy Farmers Classic and Big M.
Consumers who are sensitive to lactose will no longer have to contemplate if they should satisfy their cravings – the new lactose free launches mean they can enjoy their caffeine kick, or nostalgic treat, worry free.
Ms Cheeseman said, “It has never been a better time to enjoy our iconic Aussie made and owned milk beverages, if you’ve had lactose free products on your wish list that is. The team have worked hard to ensure our new lactose-free options taste like the legen-dairy originals, so that no one has to miss out.”
For those who can stomach lactose, Dairy Farmers Classic and Big M are celebrating the return of a milky dessert combination fan-favourite Banana Split flavoured milk for a limited time.
The latest taste sensation filled with sweet flavour notes of banana and vanilla, a hint of wafer and peanut, and fresh milk, puts a deliciously smooth and creamy spin on a timeless treat.
“The team are always looking to excite Aussies with limited-edition flavoured milks featuring fun flavour combinations. The release of our Banana Split flavour a few years ago was so popular we’re delighted to offer it again,” Ms Cheeseman said.
Dairy Farmers Classic is also launching a new limited-edition Choc Malt flavour.
