Convenience Worldwide: Circle K’s first full-service franchise opportunities in Canada

The Circle K convenience-store brand has been franchised in Canada for the first time, with the offer initially targeting the Ontario province.

The brand is owned by one of the world’s largest convenience-store retailers, Couche-Tard. The new Circle K franchise locations will complement Couche-Tard’s nearly 10,000 stores in North America, including more than 2,200 in Canada.

With the aim of fostering the growth of the brand in the rapidly developing province, Circle K’s entrance into the Ontario franchise market begins immediately.

The proposal includes access to Circle K’s popular private brands, comprehensive training and continued education relating to the brand, and total operational and marketing support. The new franchise stores will display the Circle K logo, which is described as a beacon for customers across the globe looking for an easy shopping experience.

“At Circle K, we’re committed to growing our brand globally and look forward to providing business partners in Ontario with the full range of Circle K branded products and service,” Circle K Worldwide Franchise Vice President Matt McCure said. “We’re excited that through this franchise offer, more retailers will be able to join us in our mission to become the world’s preferred destination for convenience and fuel.”
