Connoisseur is serving up the “ultimate taste of Italy” this spring with the launch of its new gelato range.
Inspired by the nation’s growing “love affair” with gelato, the ice cream brand is bringing the Mediterranean summer to Australian freezers with two new flavours:
- Pistachio Gelato (1lt tub, RRP $12)
- Almond Biscotti Gelato Stick (4 pack, RRP $12)
Connoisseur’s Pistachio Gelato is described as being “smooth and velvety, combining luxurious pistachio paste with pure gelato artistry”.
“If you’re looking for an authentic Italian gelato experience with the most on-trend flavour, Connoisseur Pistachio Gelato is the closest you’ll get to the real thing – and the best you’ll find in the supermarket freezer aisle that even Nonna would approve of,” says the brand.
On the other hand, Connoisseur has reimagined almond biscotti in gelato form, blending “creamy indulgence with the richness of biscotti tradition”.
“Picture sweet and creamy gelato folded with biscotti crumb, then encased in rich milk chocolate with slivered almonds – delivering the perfect Italian escape,” says the brand.
Connoisseur Senior Brand Manager Vanessa Mason says Australians are looking for moments that feel like an escape, and nothing captures that more than the romance of Italian flavours.
“With rich textures and recipes inspired by Italy’s most iconic foodie traditions, our new gelato range transports you straight to the Italian coastline, one bite at a time,” she says.
“With bold innovation and a nod to the latest flavour trends, these creations pay tribute to ‘la dolce vita’, honouring life’s simple pleasures and the beauty of slowing down”.
Launching this month, Connoisseur’s new range will be available at Coles, Woolworths, independent grocery, and petrol and convenience stores.
